History
Advance's history is intertwined with that of Guizhou Tyre Co., Ltd (GTC). The original plant was founded in Shanghai in 1958, then relocated to Guiyang, in Guizhou province, in southwestern China. In 1965, it absorbed part of Shanghai's Greater China rubber plant, expanding its capacity. The first "Advance" branded tire rolled off the production lines as early as 1958; the brand was officially registered as a trademark in the early 1980s (1981, with registration confirmed in 1983). In 1996, the company was restructured as a publicly traded corporation and its stock was listed on the main board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange under the ticker 000589 ("Guizhou Tyre A"). Technologies
