1. Merchant identification
These conditions of sale are established by Liqui Pneus, a company operating a business of tires, wheels, rims, automobile accessories, related parts and automobile services, whose establishment is located at 1870 rue Cunard, Laval, Québec, H7S 2B2, Canada.
For the purposes of this document, the terms “Liqui Pneus”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean Liqui Pneus, its operator, its authorized representatives, employees, agents, suppliers and operational partners, as the context requires.
The terms “customer”, “you” or “your” refer to any person who consults the website, creates an account, requests a quote, purchases a product, reserves a service, communicates with Liqui Pneus or uses the features offered on the site.
The full contact details of Liqui Pneus must be clearly displayed on the website, in the footer, in transactional emails and on any invoice given to the customer.
2. Scope of the conditions of sale
These conditions apply to any sale, order, reservation, online purchase, in-store purchase linked to the website, telephone purchase, quote, delivery, pick-up, installation, installation of tires, purchase of wheels or rims, purchase of accessories, warranty request, return, exchange or refund made with Liqui Pneus.
They apply in particular to the following products, without limitation:
- new tires, used tires, demonstration tires, “take-off” tires or used tires, when available;
- wheels, rims, mags, steel wheels, tire and wheel assemblies;
- valves, TPMS sensors, nuts, bolts, centering rings, installation accessories and related parts;
- laying, balancing, installation, storage, inspection, general mechanics and related services offered by Liqui Pneus;
- local delivery, regional delivery, shipping by carrier and any other logistics options offered.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific policy posted on the Site, such as the Return Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, warranty policy or promotional term, the more specific policy applies, subject to applicable laws.
Nothing in these conditions is intended to deprive a consumer of the mandatory rights recognized by the applicable laws, in particular the Consumer Protection Act, the Civil Code of Quebec and the rules relating to contracts concluded at a distance.
3. Acceptance of the conditions and formation of the contract
3.1 Acceptance
By using the Liqui Pneus website, creating an account, placing an order, accepting a quote, reserving a service, making a payment or checking an acceptance box at checkout, the customer acknowledges having read, understood and accepted these conditions of sale.
When the order is placed online, the customer must have the opportunity to read these conditions before confirming their order. An acceptance box must not be pre-checked and must appear before the final confirmation or payment button.
3.2 Possibility of revising the order
Before confirming an online order, the customer must be able to verify, correct or refuse the proposal, including the products, quantities, dimensions, prices, discounts, taxes, delivery costs, delivery address, billing address, delivery method, payment method and final total.
3.3 Order confirmation
After concluding an online order, Liqui Pneus will send the customer an order confirmation or invoice by email or by any other technological means provided by the customer. The transmitted document must be able to be stored and printed by the client.
The order confirmation does not prevent Liqui Pneus from communicating with the customer in the event of a real problem with processing, availability, address, payment, fraud, compliance, compatibility error or missing information, subject to the customer's rights and applicable laws.
4. Products, services and descriptions
Liqui Pneus strives to provide clear, detailed and accurate descriptions of its products and services, including when available dimensions, brands, models, load indices, speed indices, characteristics, photos, quantity, availability, prices, fees, taxes and applicable conditions.
Photos, illustrations, logos, images of tires, wheels, rims or parts may be provided for information purposes only. Actual appearance of a product may vary depending on size, year of manuinvoice, supplier, series, lot, finish, vehicle configuration or manuinvoicer specifications.
Technical information from manuinvoicers, distributors, databases, catalogs, compatibility tools, APIs, suppliers or third parties is used to assist the customer. However, some information may contain errors, be incomplete or vary depending on the exact vehicle version. The customer must validate essential information before purchasing.
Liqui Pneus may modify the product sheets, descriptions, photos, prices, availability, promotions and conditions displayed on the site, subject to the customer's acquired rights for an order already concluded and applicable laws.
5. Compatibility of tires, wheels, rims and parts
5.1 Validation responsibility
The choice of tires, wheels, rims, accessories or automobile parts must be made with caution. The customer is responsible for providing accurate information regarding their vehicle and its needs, including the make, model, year, version, engine, original dimension, current dimensions, type of use and any modifications made to the vehicle.
The customer should verify the information on the vehicle placard, owner's manual, current tires, current rims or any official source from the vehicle manuinvoicer. If in doubt, the customer must contact Liqui Pneus before ordering.
5.2 Tires
For tires, the customer must notably validate the size, width, profile, diameter, load index, speed index, tire type, season, compatibility with the vehicle, intended use, load requirements and any recommendations from the vehicle manuinvoicer.
An equivalent or alternative dimension may be technically possible, but must be validated depending on the vehicle, use, clearances, load, traction system, brakes, suspension, insurance and applicable regulatory obligations.
5.3 Wheels, rims and mags
For wheels, rims or mags, the customer must notably validate the diameter, width, center distance, offset, central bore, load capacity, compatibility with brakes, calipers, TPMS sensors, centering rings, nuts or bolts, planned tire dimensions and any required accessories.
Liqui Pneus is not responsible for a compatibility problem caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer, by modifications to the vehicle, modified suspension, modified brakes, raising, lowering, body kit, spacers, conversion or any configuration not conforming to the original specifications.
5.4 Accessories and related parts
Valves, TPMS sensors, nuts, bolts, centering rings, spacers, adapters and accessories must be compatible with the vehicle and the installed wheels. Some accessories may be required even if they are not automatically included with the wheels or tires purchased.
When additional accessories are required, they may be invoiced separately, unless otherwise clearly indicated at the time of ordering.
6. Prices, taxes, promotions and pricing errors
6.1 Price and currency
Unless otherwise indicated, the prices displayed on the Liqui Pneus website are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes, delivery charges, installation charges, environmental charges, handling charges, financing charges, freight charges, return charges and other applicable charges are displayed or calculated before final order confirmation when their amount can be reasonably determined.
6.2 Taxes
Applicable taxes are calculated according to the tax laws in force, the nature of the product or service, the delivery address, the place of supply, the applicable province or territory and the tax status of the customer. Invoices indicate taxes when required.
Delivery or transportation costs may be taxable under applicable tax rules. Liqui Pneus reserves the right to correct the accounting presentation of an invoice or credit note when necessary, without however requiring from the customer an amount greater than that permitted by law and accepted within the framework of the contract.
6.3 Promotions, discounts and promotional codes
Promotions, discounts, promotional codes, manuinvoicer rebates, mail-in rebates, seasonal offers, clearance prices or special offers are valid only during the period indicated, under the conditions displayed, while supplies last, and subject to applicable laws.
A promotional code must be applied before order confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot be combined, are not retroactive, do not apply to orders already completed and cannot be converted into cash.
6.4 Price or display errors
Liqui Pneus makes reasonable efforts to avoid errors in pricing, taxes, availability, descriptions or promotions. If a manifest error is noted before the conclusion of the contract, Liqui Pneus may correct the information and allow the customer to confirm, modify or cancel their order.
When the contract is already concluded with a consumer, Liqui Pneus will respect the rules applicable to advertised prices and contracts concluded remotely. No clause in these conditions should be interpreted as allowing Liqui Pneus to charge a price higher than the advertised price when the law prohibits this.
In the event of a technical error, bug, unrealistic price, incorrectly associated product, bad barcode, bad photo or computer problem, Liqui Pneus will communicate with the customer in order to find a solution that complies with the law and is reasonable in the circumstances.
7. Availability, Special Orders and Substitutions
Product availability may depend on internal stocks, distributor stocks, manuinvoicer stocks, warehouses, transport times, inventory errors, simultaneous orders, discontinued products or situations beyond the control of Liqui Pneus.
An indication of availability displayed on the site can be updated in real time or delayed depending on the suppliers and systems connected. Liqui Pneus will communicate with the customer if a product becomes unavailable or if a significant delay occurs.
No substitution of brand, model, dimension, load index, speed index, finish, color, tire type or essential part will be imposed on the customer without consent when the substitution substantially modifies what was ordered.
Some products may be special orders, made-to-order products, imported products, rare products, discontinued products, clearance products or products not regularly stocked. These products may be subject to special conditions of payment, cancellation, return or refund, which must be indicated before concluding the order.
8. Online ordering process
8.1 Ordering steps
The online ordering process generally includes the following steps:
- selection of products or services;
- add to cart;
- verification of dimensions, quantities, prices and options;
- entering billing and delivery information;
- choice of delivery, pick-up or installation method;
- choice of payment or financing method;
- complete review of the order;
- acceptance of the applicable conditions;
- final confirmation and payment;
- receipt of an email confirmation.
8.2 Customer information
The customer must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information. Liqui Pneus is not responsible for delays, losses, additional costs, delivery errors, order errors or processing impossibilities caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer.
8.3 Refusal of processing
Subject to applicable laws, Liqui Pneus may refuse or suspend the processing of an order in the event of suspected fraud, refused payment, incomplete information, invalid address, abusive behavior, unauthorized use of a payment method, obviously abnormal order, security risk, compliance issue or request impossible to legally execute.
9. Payment, financing and anti-fraud verification
9.1 Payment methods
The payment methods accepted are those displayed at checkout or confirmed by Liqui Pneus. They may include, depending on available configurations, credit card, online debit card, digital wallet, in-store payment, financing, split payment or other authorized method.
Payment must be authorized before final processing of the order, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The customer declares to be authorized to use the means of payment provided.
9.2 Remote payment
For contracts concluded remotely with a consumer, Liqui Pneus will apply the rules applicable to payment methods and the protections provided for by law. When payment is received before delivery of the goods or provision of the service, Liqui Pneus will use a payment method permitted by law or an applicable exception.
9.3 Financing and split payment
When Liqui Pneus offers a financing or split payment solution through a third-party supplier, the customer may be redirected to this supplier. Approval, terms, interest, fees, verifications and payments are the responsibility of the supplier concerned, subject to the obligations of Liqui Pneus where required by law.
The customer must read the financing provider's terms and conditions before accepting them. Liqui Pneus does not guarantee approval of financing and is not responsible for a refusal, modification or credit decision made by a third party.
9.4 Anti-fraud verification
Liqui Pneus may carry out reasonable checks to prevent fraud, abusive chargebacks, identity theft, unauthorized use of a card, suspicious orders or any abuse of the site.
These checks may include validation of address, telephone, email, identity, order consistency or payment authorization. An order may be delayed or canceled if verification cannot be completed satisfactorily, subject to applicable laws.
10. Delivery, costs, deadlines and receipt
10.1 Delivery options
Available delivery options may vary depending on address, province, region, quantity, weight, product size, carrier, season, weather conditions, supplier lead times and logistics availability.
Liqui Pneus may use its own delivery drivers, carriers, courier services, delivery partners or distributors who directly ship certain products.
10.2 Free delivery
When Liqui Pneus announces free delivery, this offer only applies according to the conditions displayed on the site, in the basket or at checkout. As a guide, free delivery may be limited to certain orders, such as the purchase of four tires, four wheels or a qualifying set, and may exclude certain remote areas, oversized sizes, special orders, additional fees, express deliveries or special situations.
Any restrictions applicable to free delivery must be communicated to the customer before confirmation of the order when reasonably calculable.
10.3 Deadlines
Delivery times shown are estimates unless clearly stated otherwise. Liqui Pneus will make reasonable efforts to meet the deadlines indicated, but some deadlines may depend on external factors, including carriers, suppliers, weather, seasonal volume, strikes, inventory shortages, address errors or events beyond our control.
When a specific delivery date or deadline is agreed in the contract, Liqui Pneus will respect the obligations applicable to contracts concluded remotely. In the absence of delivery within the time limits provided for by law, the consumer may have cancellation or refund rights.
10.4 Receipt and inspection
The customer must inspect packages upon receipt. Any apparent damage, missing package, incorrect product, incorrect quantity or visible anomaly must be reported promptly to Liqui Pneus, ideally within 24 to 48 hours of receipt, with photos, order number and description of the problem.
This obligation to collaborate does not limit the mandatory rights of the consumer, but it allows Liqui Pneus to deal more effectively with complaints with the carrier, supplier or manuinvoicer.
10.5 Address and absence of the customer
The customer is responsible for providing a complete, accurate and accessible address. Additional charges may apply in the event of an address error, refusal of receipt, absence, inability to deliver, rescheduled delivery, returned package or fees imposed by the carrier, unless the error is attributable to Liqui Pneus.
If the customer requests or authorizes delivery without signature, to a specific location or in the absence of the recipient, he assumes the additional risks linked to this instruction to the extent permitted by law.
11. In-store pickup and installation appointment
11.1 Picking
When in-store pickup is offered, the customer must wait for confirmation of availability before showing up. Identification, the order number and the payment card used may be required upon pickup to prevent fraud.
Products not claimed within a reasonable period of time may be subject to a recall to the customer. Subject to applicable laws, storage or handling fees may apply if the customer delays collecting products after reasonable notice.
11.2 Installation
When the customer reserves an installation, he must arrive at the scheduled time with a vehicle that is compliant, accessible, safe and in a condition suitable for installation.
Liqui Pneus may refuse or postpone an installation if the products are not compatible, if the wheels are damaged, if the nuts/bolts are inadequate, if a TPMS sensor or required accessory is missing, if the vehicle presents a safety risk or if the intervention exceeds the services offered.
Additional charges may apply for valves, TPMS, nuts, bolts, bushings, hub cleaning, stud repair, anti-theft nut extraction, oversized tires, reinforced sidewall tires, special wheels or any situation not initially anticipated.
12. Cancellation, modification and refusal of order
12.1 Cancellation by the customer
A customer who wishes to cancel or modify an order must communicate promptly with Liqui Pneus. A cancellation or change request is not guaranteed if the order has already been processed, shipped, installed, special ordered, prepared or transferred to a supplier.
When a voluntary cancellation is accepted by Liqui Pneus, a reasonable fee may be withheld or charged to cover costs already incurred, including freight, handling, supplier-imposed fees, financing fees, processing fees, return fees, special order fees or restocking fees, to the extent such fees are advertised and permitted by law.
12.2 Cancellation required by law
Nothing in these conditions limits a consumer's right of cancellation or termination when the law grants him this right, in particular in the event of failure to deliver within the applicable deadlines, absence of mandatory information, incomplete contract, failure to transmit a copy of the contract, inability to keep or print the contract, or non-compliance of the good with the description.
12.3 Refusal or suspension by Liqui Pneus
Subject to applicable laws, Liqui Pneus may refuse, suspend or cancel an order in the event of fraud, unauthorized payment, inaccurate information, impossibility of delivery, legal restrictions, security risk, abusive behavior, impossible request, product not available before conclusion of the contract or other serious and reasonable reason.
13. Commercial Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
13.1 General principle
Liqui Pneus wants to handle returns and exchanges in a reasonable and professional manner. This section constitutes the commercial return, exchange and refund policy, subject to the mandatory legal rights of the consumer and the applicable guarantees.
13.2 Return request
For any voluntary return, the customer must contact Liqui Pneus before returning a product in order to obtain a return authorization. A return sent without authorization may be refused, delayed or returned to the customer, except where the law provides otherwise.
The request must include the order number, the products covered, the reason for the return, photos if necessary and any information useful for processing.
13.3 Eligible Products
Subject to exceptions and applicable laws, a product may be eligible for a commercial return if it meets all of the following conditions:
- request made within 15 days of receipt or collection, unless more favorable conditions displayed by Liqui Pneus;
- new product, uninstalled, unmounted, unbalanced, unrolled and unused;
- complete product, clean, undamaged, odorless, without installation marks, with labels, packaging and accessories, where applicable;
- product that is not a special order, final clearance, discontinued product, personalized product or product otherwise marked as final sale;
- return authorized in advance by Liqui Pneus.
13.4 Return and restocking costs
For a voluntary return not caused by Liqui Pneus error, return shipping costs, non-refundable initial shipping charges, handling fees, restocking fees or fees imposed by the supplier may be the responsibility of the customer, when such costs are permitted by law and disclosed before purchase or before acceptance of the return.
As an indication, restocking fees of up to 20% of the product price may apply for certain voluntary returns, in particular for tires, wheels, rims, heavy products, products ordered from a distributor or products requiring special management. These fees do not apply when they are prohibited by law or when the return is caused by a fault of Liqui Pneus.
13.5 Reimbursement
When the return is accepted, the refund is generally made to the original payment method, after receipt and inspection of the product. Processing time may vary depending on payment provider, bank, financing method and necessary verifications.
Liqui Pneus may deduct from the refund applicable permit fees, missing products, damages, transportation costs or restocking costs, except when the law requires a full refund.
14. Non-returnable or restricted products
Except where required by law, the following products may be non-returnable, non-exchangeable or subject to strict conditions:
- tires installed, mounted, balanced, rolled or used;
- wheels or rims installed, mounted, marked with nuts, scratched, damaged or used;
- TPMS sensors programmed, installed or activated;
- nuts, bolts, rings, valves, accessories or parts whose packaging is opened when their resale is compromised;
- products ordered specially for the customer, imported products, discontinued products or rare products;
- final liquidation products, final sales, used items, used tires or “take-off” products, when clearly indicated;
- products damaged by improper installation, misuse, accident, overloading, improper pressure, vehicle modification, off-road use or neglect;
- products returned incomplete, dirty, contaminated or without the required elements.
A product that cannot be returned commercially may nevertheless be covered by a legal or manuinvoicer's warranty if the applicable conditions are met.
15. Legal guarantees, manuinvoicer guarantees and complaints
15.1 Legal guarantees
The products sold by Liqui Pneus may be covered by the guarantees provided for by law, in particular the normal use guarantee, the reasonable duration guarantee, the guarantee against hidden defects and any other protection applicable to consumers.
Nothing in these conditions is intended to exclude or limit any statutory warranties which may not be excluded or limited under applicable law.
15.2 Manuinvoicer guarantees
Some tires, wheels, rims, sensors or accessories may be covered by a manuinvoicer's warranty. Manuinvoicer warranty conditions, limitations, deadlines, exclusions, required documents, procedures and decisions may vary by brand and product.
The customer must keep his invoice, follow the manuinvoicer's recommendations, maintain adequate pressure, perform the required rotations and maintenance when applicable, avoid overloading, improper use and any condition that could void the warranty.
15.3 Warranty requests
For any warranty claim, the customer must provide the required information and documents, including invoice, photos, description of the problem, mileage, DOT, serial number, proof of installation, proof of maintenance and any information requested by Liqui Pneus or the manuinvoicer.
Liqui Pneus may inspect the product, request the manuinvoicer's opinion, submit a complaint or require the return of the product for analysis. A claim may be denied if the defect results from road damage, impact, puncture, improper pressure, misalignment, overloading, improper installation, modification, misuse, accident, normal wear and tear or condition excluded by the applicable warranty.
15.4 Used or take-off products
When Liqui Pneus sells a used, demonstration, take-off or second-hand product, the condition, wear, DOT, tread depth, marks, repairs or particularities must be described in a reasonable manner. These products may be subject to different return or warranty conditions, subject to the rights provided by law.
16. Installation, installation, mechanics and technical responsibility
Installation, installation, balancing, maintenance, general mechanical or related services are subject to applicable professional rules, technical limitations of the vehicle, condition of the products and information provided by the customer.
Liqui Pneus may refuse to install a product deemed dangerous, incompatible, damaged, worn, non-compliant, too old, incorrectly sized, inappropriate for the vehicle or likely to compromise safety.
After wheel installation, the customer must follow safety recommendations, including having the tightening torque checked after approximately 100 km, unless otherwise indicated by Liqui Pneus or the manuinvoicer. The customer must also monitor any vibration, noise, loss of pressure, TPMS warning light, anomaly or unusual behavior and cease use of the vehicle if a situation appears dangerous.
Liqui Pneus is not responsible for damages resulting from misuse, improper pressure, overloading, impact, potholes, abusive driving, vehicle modification, non-compatible parts supplied by the customer, installation by a third party or failure of the customer to follow safety recommendations, to the extent permitted by law.
17. Customer Liability and Limitations of Liability
17.1 Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided, the choice of products when ordering without prior validation, the safe use of the products, normal maintenance, compliance with the manuinvoicer's recommendations, compliance with road laws and verification of any important compatibility.
17.2 Applicable Limits
To the extent permitted by law, Liqui Pneus will not be liable for indirect, special, punitive damages, loss of income, business interruption, loss of use, loss of time, travel expenses, vehicle rental expenses, commercial losses or other consequential damages arising from any product, delay, order error or service, except where the law imposes a different liability.
For commercial customers, businesses, garages, dealers, fleets or resellers, the liability of Liqui Pneus may be limited to the amount paid for the product or service in question, subject to mandatory legal obligations, gross or intentional negligence and guarantees which cannot be excluded.
For consumers, these limits apply only to the extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act, the Civil Code of Quebec and any other applicable law. They are not intended to exclude any liability which cannot be legally excluded.
18. Customer accounts, communications and notices

18.3 Marketing communications
Liqui Pneus may send commercial communications with the consent required by law. The customer can unsubscribe from newsletters or marketing messages at any time. Unsubscribing from marketing messages does not prevent the sending of necessary transactional communications.
18.4 Customer reviews
Liqui Pneus may invite the customer to leave an honest review about their experience. The customer is free to participate or not. Liqui Pneus cannot guarantee the display, modification or removal of a review published on a third-party platform such as Google.
19. Protection of personal information
The collection, use, communication, retention and protection of the customer's personal information are governed by the Liqui Pneus Privacy Policy, available on the website.
By using the Site, creating an account, placing an order, communicating with Liqui Pneus or using a service, the customer acknowledges that certain personal information may be necessary to process the order, payment, delivery, customer service, warranties, returns, fraud prevention and legal obligations.

20. Force majeure, abuse, fraud and security
20.1 Force majeure
Liqui Pneus will not be responsible for a delay or failure to perform caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, including natural disaster, fire, flood, major breakdown, cyber attack, strike, labor dispute, shortage, pandemic, government measure, transport problem, system failure, supplier interruption, meteorological event, supply crisis or force majeure situation.
20.2 Abuse and fraud
Liqui Pneus reserves the right to refuse, suspend or cancel an order, deactivate an account, limit access to the site or take any reasonable action in the event of fraud, attempted fraud, abuse, threat, harassment, abusive chargeback, unauthorized use of a payment, identity theft, manipulation of promotions, automated abusive use or behavior that undermines the security or reputation of Liqui Pneus.
20.3 Security
The customer undertakes not to use the website in any way that is illegal, fraudulent, harmful or likely to compromise the security, integrity, availability or operation of the site, systems, data or services of Liqui Pneus.

21.1 Applicable law
These conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada which apply there.
21.2 Jurisdiction
Subject to the mandatory rights recognized to consumers by applicable laws, any dispute relating to these conditions, an order, a product, a service or the website will be submitted to the competent courts of Quebec, the appropriate judicial district according to law.
For commercial customers, businesses, garages, dealerships, fleets, resellers or other non-consumer customers, the parties agree, to the extent permitted by law, to submit any dispute to the courts of the judicial district of Laval, Quebec.
21.3 Divisibility
If any provision of these conditions is declared void, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the extent necessary to make it valid, or will be deemed distinct from the other provisions. The other provisions will remain in effect.
