Warranty policy
Last updated: May 15, 2026
At Liqui Pneus, we are committed to offering our customers tires, wheels, rims, parts and accessories from recognized suppliers and manuinvoicers. This policy explains the operation of the guarantees applicable to products sold by Liqui Pneus, the conditions for complaints, exclusions and customer responsibilities.
This policy applies to all products purchased from Liqui Pneus, whether online, by telephone, in store, by email or through any other official sales channel.
1. Applicable guarantees
Subject to the guarantees provided for by applicable laws, the products sold by Liqui Pneus are covered by the guarantees offered by the manuinvoicers.
Liqui Pneus does not offer an additional commercial guarantee on products, unless otherwise indicated in writing on the invoice, product sheet, an official promotion or a separate contract.
Manuinvoicer warranties may vary depending on:
the brand of the product;
the type of product;
the model;
the intended use;
the date of purchase;
the mileage traveled;
the remaining wear depth;
installation conditions;
maintenance conditions;
manuinvoicer-specific exclusions.
The customer should consult the manuinvoicer's warranty documents for the exact conditions applicable to their product.
2. Legal guarantees
Nothing in this policy limits the consumer's rights provided for by applicable laws, including legal guarantees where these apply.
The products sold must be able to serve their normal purpose for a reasonable period of time, depending on their nature, their price, their condition, their use and the circumstances of the sale.
This policy aims to regulate manuinvoicers' commercial guarantees and the administrative processing of complaints, without withdrawing the customer's legal rights.
3. Role of Liqui Pneus
Liqui Pneus acts as retailer, reseller or intermediary between the customer and the manuinvoicer.
When a customer believes that a product is defective, Liqui Pneus can help them open a warranty file with the manuinvoicer concerned. This assistance does not constitute an automatic acknowledgment of liability or confirmation that the claim will be accepted.
The final decision regarding a manuinvoicer's warranty generally remains with the manuinvoicer, its authorized representative or designated inspection center.
Liqui Pneus may refuse to process a claim that is incomplete, undocumented, abusive, fraudulent or does not comply with the manuinvoicer's requirements.
4. Products covered
This policy may apply to the following products, depending on the warranties offered by their respective manuinvoicers:
new tires;
winter tires;
summer tires;
all-season tires;
all-condition tires;
performance tires;
light truck tires;
commercial tires;
wheels and rims;

related products sold by Liqui Pneus.
Used tires, liquidation products, demonstrator products, discontinued products or products sold with a special mention may be subject to separate conditions, indicated at the time of sale when applicable.
5. Manufacturing defect
A manuinvoicer's warranty may cover certain defects related to the materials or manufacturing of the product.
In the case of a tire, a manufacturing defect can manifest itself in particular by:
abnormal deformation;
an unusual vibration not related to the vehicle;
an internal separation;
a bubble not caused by an impact;
a structural defect;
abnormal wear attributable to the product itself, according to the manuinvoicer's analysis.
However, a visible or felt problem with a tire does not automatically mean that it is a manufacturing defect. An inspection may be necessary to determine if the problem is with the product, vehicle, installation, maintenance, roadway or usage.
6. Wear or mileage guarantee
Some manuinvoicers offer a limited wear or mileage warranty on certain tire models.
This warranty is always subject to the manuinvoicer's conditions. In particular, it may require:
an original proof of purchase;
proof of installation date;
proof of mileage at the time of installation;
evidence of regular tire rotation;
proof of vehicle alignment;
uniform tire wear;
the use of tires on the appropriate vehicle;
compliance with recommended pressures;
a minimum remaining wear depth.
Wear warranties do not necessarily apply to winter tires, competition tires, commercial tires, LT tires, off-road tires, original tires installed on a new vehicle or tires used in severe conditions.
Liqui Pneus cannot guarantee that a wear claim will be accepted by the manuinvoicer.
7. Road hazards
Unless otherwise indicated in writing, damage caused by road hazards is not covered by Liqui Pneus.
Road hazards include:

screw ;

potholes;

Protection against road hazards may sometimes be offered by certain manuinvoicers, partners, promotional programs or additional guarantees. This protection only applies if it is clearly indicated at the time of purchase or on the invoice.
No protection against road hazards can be added retroactively after purchase, unless authorized in writing by Liqui Pneus.

The manuinvoicer or Liqui Pneus may require the return of the product for inspection.
15. Inspection and decision
A claim may require inspection by:
Liqui Pneus;
a partner garage;
a representative of the manuinvoicer;
an authorized distributor;
an independent inspection center.
Under a manuinvoicer's warranty, the decision of the manuinvoicer or its authorized representative generally determines whether the product is eligible for replacement, credit, repair, or partial refund.
If the manuinvoicer refuses the claim, Liqui Pneus will not be required to refund or replace the product, unless required by applicable law.
16. Temporary replacement or emergency purchase
If the customer must purchase a replacement product before the claim is approved, this purchase remains the customer's responsibility until final decision.

18. Tire manufacturing date â DOT
The DOT code of a tire indicates in particular the week and year of manuinvoice of the tire.
A new tire may have been manuinvoiced before the year it was purchased. This does not automatically mean that it is worn, defective or unfit for use.
Manuinvoicers' warranties are usually calculated on their own terms, often from the date of purchase, but this can vary by brand, model and country.
If a customer has a concern regarding the DOT of a received tire, they should contact Liqui Pneus prior to installation.
Once a tire is installed, used or driven, return or exchange options may be limited.
19. Used products, liquidation and final sale
Used, liquidation, discontinued, opened, demonstrator products or products sold at a reduced price may be subject to special conditions.
When a product is sold with a specific mention, this will be indicated on the invoice, product sheet or sales communication.
Used tires generally do not have a manuinvoicer's warranty unless otherwise stated.
Nothing in this section limits Customer's rights under applicable law.
20. Warranty Returns
A warranty-related return must be authorized by Liqui Pneus before shipping or depositing the product.
Liqui Pneus can provide a return authorization number or specific instructions.
