Nexen Winguard Ice 3 by size
The Winguard Ice 3 is a Nordic-type winter tire from Nexen, which presents it with its “New Nordic Compound”. It is a different tire from the Winguard Winspike 3 and the Winguard Ice Plus, two other Nexen winter tires: the full model name appears on each size page.
According to Nexen: a V-shaped tread for stability on winter roads, micro-sipes for grip from the first cold days, 3D kerfs that stiffen the blocks for shorter braking, saw-tooth blocks for edge grip on ice and step-edge grooves for traction. The sidewall carries the “Ice Grip” mark, which Nexen says it obtained after winter performance testing. The scores on Nexen’s model page (ice 5/5, snow 4.5/5, wet 4.5/5) are the manufacturer’s, not an independent Liqui Pneus test.

Balancing is included; light vehicles only. Eligible new tires can also be delivered in Quebec or picked up in Laval; the options for your order are shown in the cart.
