Our used tire inventory

We sell sets of used summer, winter and all-season tires for cars, SUVs and light trucks. The inventory changes as tires come in, depending on the tires we take in and inspect at the shop.

For now, purchases are made at the shop: one call with your tire size tells you what we have, so you never make the trip for nothing.

Inspection and condition of every tire

Every tire is inspected at our Laval shop before it is listed, and sold as described. We record the size, season, tread depth, DOT code, overall condition and any repair or defect found.

The DOT code tells the tire's age: its last four digits are the week and year of manufacture (2219 = week 22 of 2019). Ask for it if age matters to you.

Tread depth: how much driving is left

Tread depth is measured in 32nds of an inch (and in millimetres). As a guide, this is the scale we use to estimate remaining wear:

• 10/32 in. and more: like new;
• 8/32 in.: about three seasons;
• 6/32 in.: about two seasons;
• less than 6/32 in.: about one season.

Used tire warranty

Used tires are not eligible for the road hazard protection plan, which is reserved for new tires. They remain covered by the warranties provided by law, and any specific condition is given to you at the time of sale. Details are in our warranty policy.

Installation or pickup in Laval, no delivery

Used tires are not shipped. You pick them up, or we install them at our shop, 1870 Cunard Street in Laval, by appointment, balancing included. Installation is offered for light vehicles: cars, SUVs, minivans and light trucks, on 12- to 24-inch rims that do not end in .5. In season, choose a Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: the Saturday rate is shown before you confirm.
