Vehicle model
Alpine A290
The A290 is Alpine's 100% electric sporty city car, presented as the "hot hatch" of the electric era and the brand's first fully electric production model. Derived from the Renault 5 E-Tech, it takes a compact five-door base but receives Alpine treatment: a sharpened chassis, distinctive look and increased power (around 220 hp). With a length of about 4 metres and a contained weight for an electric vehicle, it targets fans of dynamic driving for urban and suburban use while offering the practicality of a modern city car. It serves as the entry point to Alpine's electrified range and marks the brand's expansion beyond sporty coupes alone. As for tires and wheels: more compact diameters than a mid-engined sports car, with fitments suited to a high-performance city car; in Quebec, winter tires are essential, and the battery's range is also reduced by the cold.

Tires and wheels
Tire and wheel compatibility
