Cupra Tavascan
The Tavascan, unveiled as a concept as early as 2019 and then marketed from 2023-2024, is Cupra's first fully electric coupe-SUV. Stemming from a Catalan concept, it combines the coupe-SUV body sought after in the market with a 100% electric powertrain and the brand's sculpted styling. Positioned in the C-segment, it targets a clientele wanting an electric family vehicle with a bold character, the Cupra equivalent of the Volkswagen ID.4 and ID.5. It comes in a rear-drive Endurance version and a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive, more powerful VZ version. Its homologated range reaches about 530 km depending on the version. Heavy and powerful, the Tavascan demands quality tires: in Quebec, a dedicated winter setup is strongly advised for traction, safety and preserving range in cold weather.
