IM Gamme IM - électrique/hybride
IM is, originally, an exclusively electric brand: most of its range relies on fully battery-electric vehicles (L6/L7 sedans, LS6/LS7 SUVs). To address range anxiety and long trips, some of its recent, large-format SUVs adopt range-extender (EREV) technology, where a small combustion engine serves only as a generator to recharge the battery, without directly driving the wheels. Les modèles IM (berline IM5, VUS IM6) sont des véhicules électriques premium chaussés de grandes jantes, typiquement de 19 à 21 pouces selon les versions, avec des pneus à profil bas. Sur les déclinaisons sportives, on observe une monte étagée (pneus arrière plus larges que l'avant), par exemple en 245 à l'avant et 275 à l'arrière en diamètre 20 pouces, en pneus performance.
