The electric and hybrid range reflects JAC's shift toward new-energy vehicles, begun in the early 2010s. It brings together battery-electric city cars and SUVs (E families, such as the E10X / E-JS1, as well as EV versions of existing models) and plug-in hybrids, including pickups equipped with the "H-Power" hybrid system (T9 PHEV) and PHEV SUVs. The alliance with Volkswagen, through Volkswagen Anhui, has strengthened the group's access to modern electric platforms. This range targets urban customers mindful of running costs, as well as fleets; medium-duty electric trucks have in fact been delivered in North America. La gamme JAC est dominée par des VUS et des camionnettes, ce qui se traduit par des jantes de moyen à grand diamètre, typiquement de 16 à 18 pouces, voire davantage sur certaines finitions. Le pick-up T9, par exemple, est monté d'origine en 265/60R18. Les VUS compacts à familiaux se situent plutôt sur des montes de 16 à 18 pouces selon le modèle et la finition. Comme pour tout véhicule au Québec, des pneus d'hiver dédiés sont essentiels et obligatoires durant la période réglementée. Vérifiez toujours la dimension exacte, l'entraxe (bolt pattern) et le déport propres à votre version avant d'acheter pneus ou jantes, car JAC reste peu répandu localement.
