Ce type de monte privilégie l'endurance et la charge plutôt que la performance routière. Au Québec, où ZX n'est pas distribué officiellement, un propriétaire devrait viser des pneus d'hiver homologués 3PMSF dans la dimension d'origine, idéalement montés sur un second train de jantes en acier de même diamètre.
