UNIWHEELS was the German group acquired by Superior Industries in May 2017, the third-largest OEM supplier of aluminum wheels in Europe and the leading European producer of aftermarket replacement wheels. The name UNIWHEELS therefore refers to the European industrial entity and platform now integrated into Superior, not to a specific wheel model. The acquisition brought combined capacity to more than 20 million wheels per year and gave Superior a European industrial foothold along with the aftermarket brands ATS, RIAL, ALUTEC and ANZIO. From 2018, the operation gradually adopted the Superior name.
