Daewoo Gamme Daewoo - utilitaires ou VUS
Daewoo's utility or crossover lineup remained limited during the brand's short life. In North America (1997-2002), Daewoo essentially did not market a true SUV under its own name, focusing instead on sedans and compacts. Globally, however, Daewoo and its successor GM Daewoo did develop compact crossovers and off-roaders whose platforms later underpinned Chevrolet models (for example the Captiva and the Winstorm, sold elsewhere). These vehicles were aimed at versatile family use at a moderate cost. In Quebec, such a vehicle, taller and heavier than a compact, requires properly sized winter tires; wheel diameters generally remained modest (around 15 to 17 inches depending on the version), with the bolt pattern to be verified on the vehicle.

Les Daewoo vendues en Amérique du Nord étaient surtout des sous-compactes et compactes (Lanos, Nubira) et une intermédiaire (Leganza), équipées de petites roues, typiquement de 13 à 15 pouces de diamètre, avec des pneus étroits adaptés aux moteurs modestes. L'entraxe (bolt pattern) le plus fréquent sur ces petites coréennes est de 4 trous. Comme pour toute voiture circulant au Québec, des pneus d'hiver conformes (loi provinciale) sont essentiels, et un second train de jantes en acier de petit diamètre demeure une option économique et pratique. Vérifiez toujours la dimension exacte inscrite sur le flanc du pneu d'origine et l'entraxe réel avant l'achat.
