Les entraxes (bolt patterns) correspondent le plus souvent aux standards courants des véhicules de ces gabarits. Faute de présence officielle au Québec, il vaut mieux confirmer les dimensions exactes de pneus et de jantes sur l'étiquette du véhicule ou la portière conducteur. Au Québec, des pneus d'hiver homologués sont obligatoires : pour ces véhicules à vocation urbaine, un second train monté sur jantes d'acier de plus petit diamètre est une solution économique et pratique.
