EVO Gamme EVO - électrique/hybride
Electrification is EVO's weak point: the brand offers no widely distributed fully electric vehicle and remains focused on combustion powertrains. The only notable form of electrification in the lineup is the 48 V mild hybridization of the EVO 6, an SUV that combines a gasoline engine with a small 48 V system to lightly assist the engine and reduce fuel consumption, without any all-electric driving capability. Les modèles EVO sont des VUS et berlines compacts de segments B à D. On y trouve généralement des jantes en alliage de 16 à 18 pouces, le 17 pouces étant courant (par exemple sur l'EVO 5). L'entraxe (bolt pattern) typique de ces plateformes d'origine chinoise est fréquemment du 5x114,3 mm, valeur très répandue qui facilite la recherche d'équivalences. Comme ces véhicules ne sont pas vendus au Québec, l'approvisionnement local en montes d'origine n'est pas un enjeu pratique. Pour tout VUS de ce gabarit circulant en hiver québécois, des pneus d'hiver dédiés (et non quatre-saisons) demeurent essentiels et obligatoires; rester sur le diamètre de jante d'origine simplifie le choix.
