These cars are aimed at buyers on a tight budget who prioritize price/equipment value over finish or dynamics. As for tires, they stay with common compact-car sizes (16- to 17-inch wheels most often), with widespread bolt patterns that make equivalences easy. Like the entire brand, these models are not available in Quebec; in Quebec's winter climate, suitable winter tires would nonetheless remain a necessity.

Les modèles EVO sont des VUS et berlines compacts de segments B à D. On y trouve généralement des jantes en alliage de 16 à 18 pouces, le 17 pouces étant courant (par exemple sur l'EVO 5). L'entraxe (bolt pattern) typique de ces plateformes d'origine chinoise est fréquemment du 5x114,3 mm, valeur très répandue qui facilite la recherche d'équivalences. Comme ces véhicules ne sont pas vendus au Québec, l'approvisionnement local en montes d'origine n'est pas un enjeu pratique. Pour tout VUS de ce gabarit circulant en hiver québécois, des pneus d'hiver dédiés (et non quatre-saisons) demeurent essentiels et obligatoires; rester sur le diamètre de jante d'origine simplifie le choix.
