Firefly is an all-electric brand: it offers no internal-combustion or hybrid powertrain. The "Firefly range - electric/hybrid" therefore comes down to the brand's 100% electric offering, built around its small battery hatchback. Inherited from the NIO ecosystem, this model relies on a swappable LFP battery and the Battery-as-a-Service formula, which lets owners lease the battery to lower the purchase price, an original approach in the electric city-car segment. The target use is urban, with enough range for daily driving but more limited for long trips, particularly in Quebec winter conditions where the cold reduces range. Since the brand is not sold in Canada, these vehicles remain unavailable locally. For winter, approved winter tires are essential and must be chosen according to the high load characteristic of EVs.

Le modèle Firefly est une citadine électrique chaussée de jantes de 18 pouces avec des pneus 215/50 R18 d'origine, un format courant facile à trouver. Comme toute compacte, elle privilégie des diamètres de jante moyens (autour de 17 à 18 pouces) et des pneus relativement étroits favorisant l'autonomie. Au Québec, des pneus d'hiver homologués sont obligatoires : pour une électrique lourde et silencieuse, on choisira un pneu hiver adapté à la charge et au couple instantané, parfois en montage plus petit (ex. 17 pouces) avec flanc plus haut pour le confort et la neige. Faute de présence locale de la marque, validez toujours la dimension exacte sur l'étiquette de la portière. Les chiffres précis peuvent varier selon les versions.
