GAC Aion S
The Aion S is the first electric sedan from GAC's Aion brand, presented to the public at the Guangzhou Motor Show. It is positioned in the compact-to-midsize electric sedan segment, intended for daily urban and suburban use, with good range for long trips. Built on the dedicated GEP 2.0 platform, it shows a low drag coefficient (around 0.245) favorable to efficiency. It has had several variants (Plus, Max versions) and several battery capacities. On the tire and wheel side, this type of electric sedan generally runs 16- to 18-inch wheels; in Quebec, winter tires suited to the mass and instant torque of an electric vehicle are essential, and low-rolling-resistance tires help limit range loss in extreme cold.

A 100% electric sedan on the dedicated GEP 2.0 platform, with batteries of about 49 to 68 kWh depending on the version and NEDC ranges that can exceed 600 km. 0-100 km/h acceleration of about 6.7 to 7.5 s, a central infotainment screen, and a solar-panel roof on certain versions.
