The IONIQ 5 is a fully electric crossover SUV launched in 2021, the first model of the IONIQ sub-brand built on the dedicated E-GMP platform. Its retro-futuristic styling, inspired by the historic Pony, and its spacious flat-floor cabin earned it numerous distinctions, including the titles of 2022 World Car of the Year and World Electric Vehicle of the Year. It targets buyers wanting a versatile, technological, and comfortable electric SUV. La gamme Hyundai au Québec couvre des berlines compactes (Elantra), intermédiaires (Sonata), des VUS compacts à intermédiaires (Tucson, Santa Fe) et des électriques (IONIQ 5). Les diamètres de jantes vont généralement d'environ 15-16 pouces sur les berlines d'entrée jusqu'à 18-20 pouces sur les VUS et modèles électriques mieux équipés.
