Lifan Gamme Lifan - électrique/hybride
Lifan's electric segment is recent and tied to the takeover by Geely. After the 2020 bankruptcy and transformation into Lifan Technology in early 2021, the company obtained from Geely the right to produce battery electric vehicles based on the Maple and Jiaji platforms, with a targeted annual capacity of around 100,000 units. These models were quickly grouped under the Maple and then Livan brands, the Geely-Lifan joint venture created in 2022, rather than under the Lifan name itself. They aim at affordable, urban electric mobility in China, sometimes combined with battery swapping for fleets. These vehicles are not distributed in North America. Like any EV, they favor low-rolling-resistance tires; in Quebec, certified winter tires remain mandatory in the cold season.

Tire and wheel compatibility
