Livan Gamme Livan - électrique/hybride
The core of Livan's identity is electrification: in the Chinese market, nearly the entire lineup is electric, with a strong specialization in battery swapping. This approach, inherited from Geely's expertise, allows the pack to be replaced in a few dozen seconds, which appeals to taxi fleets (Cao Cao versions) and reduces range anxiety. The lineup includes SUVs (Livan 7, 9), MPVs (Livan 8), and electric city cars, as well as at least one range-extender (EREV) variant combining a battery with a small combustion engine. These vehicles are not offered in North America. For a Quebec driver, note that EVs and hybrids, often heavier, place heavy demands on tires: properly sized, certified winter tires are all the more important for safety.
