Les Luxeed sont de grands véhicules électriques premium chaussés de jantes de fort diamètre : la R7 reçoit des jantes de 20 pouces de série, avec une option de 21 pouces, tandis que la S7 adopte des jantes pouvant atteindre 21 pouces selon la finition. Ces formats imposent des pneus toutes saisons ou performance à profil bas, généralement de marques premium. Comme tout VÉ lourd, ces véhicules sollicitent fortement les pneus (couple instantané, masse des batteries). Au Québec, un second train de pneus d'hiver homologués (pictogramme montagne-flocon), souvent sur des jantes d'un diamètre légèrement inférieur pour plus de confort et d'économie, est fortement recommandé et obligatoire en saison.
