Vehicle model
Soueast Gamme Soueast - véhicules particuliers
The passenger-vehicle segment (sedans and hatchbacks) is mainly Soueast's legacy from before the Chery era. During the joint venture with Mitsubishi, the brand produced sedans (V3, V5), hatchbacks (V6), and compacts, as well as rebadged Mitsubishis such as the Lancer. These models targeted Chinese customers looking for affordable, practical cars. Under Chery, the new "5+2+1" strategy calls for two urban sedans to complement the SUVs, but the lineup today is dominated by SUVs. These vehicles are not marketed in North America or Quebec. Tire/wheel note: sedans of this type generally use wheels from 16 to 18 inches; in Quebec, winter tires would be required by law, but the brand is not sold there.
