Vehicle model
Soueast Gamme Soueast - électrique/hybride
Electrification is a central pillar of Soueast's relaunch under Chery. The brand offers its SUVs in DM (Dual Motor / hybrid) versions, covering the conventional hybrid (HEV), the plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and the fully electric (BEV) depending on the market. These powertrains aim to reduce fuel consumption and emissions while providing electric range for urban trips. The automaker's "5+2+1" strategy incorporates four types of energy, and Soueast plans to prioritize electric vehicles in certain markets, including the European Union, by 2028-2030. These vehicles are not offered in North America or Quebec. Tire/wheel note: the electrified versions, heavier because of their batteries, place greater demands on tires; in Quebec, winter tires suited to the load would be essential, but the brand is not distributed there.
