Vehicle model
Suzuki Vitara
The Vitara is Suzuki's compact SUV line, available in five generations since 1988. The second and third generations carried the Grand Vitara name, more off-road oriented, before the fourth generation (2015) returned to the Vitara name and adopted a more modern on-road crossover positioning. The Vitara targets families and drivers seeking a maneuverable, fuel-efficient, and affordable SUV, with optional AllGrip all-wheel drive that is useful in winter. For Europe, it is assembled in Hungary. On the tire and wheel front, recent Vitaras frequently use a very common 5x114.3 bolt pattern, which makes choosing wheels and finding equivalents easier, with typical diameters of 16 to 18 inches. In Quebec, winter tires are mandatory: a winter set on wheels in the original diameter makes the most of the AllGrip system.
