Accuride Aluminum Wheels

The Aluminum Wheels line brings together Accuride's forged aluminum wheels, designed for over-the-road fleets looking to reduce unsprung mass and the weight of the tractor-trailer combination. Forged from the proprietary Quantum 99 alloy with a controlled grain structure, they offer a better strength-to-weight ratio than steel, favorable heat dissipation for the brakes, and a bright finish prized by drivers. The variants include the lightened Accu-Lite family, the wide DupleX-One wheel, and the Ultramount 335 for ISO/European markets, with the possibility of exclusive hand-hole patterns for a manufacturer. Three polishing levels (SP, XP, and XPC with Accu-Shield) protect the surface. The payload and fuel gains justify the higher purchase cost on long hauls. In Quebec, aluminum avoids the red corrosion of steel, but salt dulls an unprotected polish: the Accu-Shield option and regular maintenance are worthwhile.
