BBS FI-R

The FI-R is a monoblock forged aluminum wheel from BBS's motorsport department, regarded as one of the lightest and strongest for the street. Its five split-spoke design, machined by 5-axis CNC, incorporates relief holes behind the spokes, an engineering solution intended to remove even more unsprung mass without compromising rigidity. Offered in typical diameters of 19, 20, and 21 inches, sometimes with a center-lock version, it targets sports cars and supercars in street and track use. It is an exceptional wheel, at a very high price (often over $2,000 per wheel). In Quebec, it is suited to summer or circuit use: avoid salt exposure, and validate bolt pattern, offset, center bore, load rating, TPMS compatibility, and brake clearance, especially on the very large diameters.
