Wheel model

BORBET Type A

The BORBET A ("Type A") is one of the brand's great classics, in the catalog for over 30 years. It is a star-style wheel with wide, powerful spokes recessed into the drop center, a deliberately timeless rather than trendy design. Of cast construction, it comes in silver finishes (often with a polished rim), giving it a clean, understated look suited to a wide variety of European sedans and compacts. Its target audience is the motorist looking for a durable, discreet, and certified replacement wheel without any quest for a dramatic effect. Because it has been around for a long time, it is found in several diameters and bolt-pattern configurations covering many common vehicles, an asset for fitment. In Quebec, its relatively simple silver finish resists winter assaults (salt, calcium) better than mirror-polished surfaces, making it a reasonable candidate as a three-season set or even as a rugged base. Always confirm bolt pattern, offset, and center bore according to the exact vehicle model.
