CITIC Dicastal Casting Systems

Casting Systems refers less to a wheel model than to industrial know-how: the casting processes and equipment that Dicastal uses to produce its aluminum wheels and chassis parts. These include low-pressure die casting (LPDC), which fills the mold under controlled pressure to obtain dense, homogeneous metal, and counter-pressure casting (CPC), which further reduces porosity and improves mechanical properties. These systems, heavily automated in digitized "lighthouse" plants, explain the consistency of quality that allows Dicastal to serve automakers as demanding as Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Toyota. For the end customer, the benefit is indirect but real: controlled casting yields wheels with consistent behavior, reliable balancing and durability conforming to automakers' standards. It is this manufacturing foundation that underpins both standard OEM wheels and the lightweight versions subsequently obtained through flow forming, and that ensures uniform quality across very large volumes.
