Compomotive CXN

The CXN is a historic modular multi-piece (three-piece, split rim) wheel from Compomotive, conceived as a lighter answer to the high-end demountable wheels of the era. Its bolted multi-element construction allows you to combine various lip widths and offsets, and offers the advantage of being able to repair or refinish the outer rim. Highly sought after today on the vintage and stance scene, the CXN is found mainly used, in classic 15 to 16 inch diameters and various bolt patterns (4x100, 4x108, etc.). Since Compomotive no longer produces multi-piece wheels, the model has become rare. In Quebec, buying one requires checking the bolt pattern, offset, bore, and the condition of the bolted components; winter salt calls for particular attention to the sealing and corrosion of the assemblies.
