Enkei Wheel model
Enkei RPF1
The RPF1 is Enkei's iconic racing wheel: a one-piece MAT flow-formed wheel with six very thin split spokes, among the lightest in its class (about 15 lb in 17x9). Its design derives from the wheels of the 2003 McLaren MP4-17D Formula 1 car: the twin spokes disperse cornering and braking stresses, and the machined pockets around the bolt holes increase stiffness while keeping the wheel cooler during hard driving. Available from 15 to 18 inch with a wide choice of bolt patterns and offsets, it leaves room for large brake calipers. It is a benchmark choice for track, autocross, time attack, and drift, but also an excellent lightweight set for the road. In Quebec, its light weight aids acceleration and braking; its painted finish requires regular maintenance if exposed to winter salt.
