The U101 is the reference for the Indy model, one of the founding designs relaunched by US Mags in 2010. This one-piece cast mag revives the classic so-called kidney bean pattern that defined the custom wheel market in its original years. Offered in 15 to 17 inch diameters with widths from 5 to 10 inches, in 5- and 6-lug bolt patterns, it targets faithful restorations of classic American cars and hot rods, generally in a polished finish. Its purpose is decidedly aesthetic and vintage rather than performance-oriented. For a Quebec project, the modest diameters make it easier to choose affordable all-season or winter tires, but the polished finish requires regular maintenance against road salt; validating the bolt pattern, offset and brake clearance for the vehicle remains essential before purchase.
