Vehicle model
Aiways Gamme Aiways - électrique/hybride
Aiways' "electric/hybrid" range is in fact entirely electric: from its founding in 2017, the brand was conceived as a manufacturer exclusively dedicated to battery-electric vehicles, offering no combustion or hybrid models. Its entire offering, from the U5 to the U6, relies on pure electric propulsion. This "all-electric" positioning is a strong identity trait, shared with other young Chinese brands born with the rise of electromobility. For the buyer, this means charging at home or at a station, with no combustion engine maintenance. In Quebec, as with any heavy, high-torque electric vehicle, certified winter tires would be essential for traction and winter safety. These vehicles, however, are not offered in North America, the brand remaining focused on Europe.

Technology
Technologies, engines and platforms
Fully battery-electric (BEV) architecture, with no combustion or hybrid powertrain. A battery of about 63 kWh from CATL, a permanent-magnet synchronous motor, and the "More Adaptable Structure" platform on the U6 accepting several battery and powertrain configurations.
Tires and wheels
Tire and wheel compatibility
