Changan Qiyuan Nevo's SUV lineup is built around compact SUVs, of which the Q05 (Nevo Q05) is the main representative. Launched in 2023, the first-generation Q05 was a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUV derived from the combustion version of the Changan CS55 Plus, combining a 1.5L turbo engine with an electric motor. A second generation, unveiled in August 2025, becomes a 100% electric SUV on a dedicated platform, with dimensions of about 4.4 m in length. This segment targets families looking for a versatile, raised, and electrified vehicle at a controlled cost. The lineup extends to other, newer SUVs (Q06) with 800V architecture. In Quebec, these heavy electrified SUVs benefit greatly from dedicated winter tires, and their large-diameter wheels (often 18 or 19 inches) justify a separate winter set to preserve range and safety on snow. These models are, however, not marketed in North America.

Compact SUVs offered as a plug-in hybrid (1.5L turbo + electric motor, E-CVT) in the first generation, then as 100% electric on a dedicated platform (LFP battery, motor of about 120 kW). The recent models adopt 800V architecture and ultra-fast charging.

Comme berlines et VUS électrifiés de segments compact à intermédiaire, les modèles Nevo utilisent généralement des roues de grand diamètre (autour de 17 à 19 pouces), typiques des véhicules électriques qui privilégient des pneus à faible résistance au roulement pour préserver l'autonomie. L'entraxe de fixation suit les standards habituels des plateformes chinoises modernes (souvent 5 trous). Les chiffres exacts varient selon le modèle et la finition. Au Québec, comme pour tout véhicule électrifié lourd à fort couple, des pneus d'hiver dédiés sont essentiels et obligatoires : ils améliorent nettement la traction sur neige et glace. Prévoir un second jeu de jantes en acier ou en alliage pour le montage hivernal facilite les changements saisonniers.
