Isuzu D-Max
The D-Max is Isuzu's emblematic midsize pickup, launched in 2002 with a world debut in Thailand. Three generations have followed one another: 2002, 2012, then 2020. Designed first for work, load hauling, and towing, it targets fleets, tradespeople, farmers, and off-road enthusiasts, while gaining in comfort and equipment over the generations. Very widespread in Southeast Asia, Australia, and Europe, it also serves as the base for derivatives such as the Mazda BT-50 and the MU-X SUV. The D-Max rides on a robust ladder frame and is almost exclusively diesel. On the tire and wheel side, this pickup generally uses a 6-bolt pattern (often 6x139.7 mm) with 17- to 18-inch wheels, or larger in modified versions; in Quebec, light-truck-type winter tires with a suitable load index are strongly recommended.
