Chery QQ
The QQ is the microcar that made Chery famous: launched in 2003, this small, economical and compact five-door became a phenomenon in China thanks to its very low price, low fuel consumption and ideal city format. Produced until around the mid-2010s, it was offered in several generations and laid the foundations for the automaker's commercial success, before the arrival of more modern models. The QQ targeted budget-conscious urban customers looking for a first vehicle that was practical and inexpensive to use. It was never officially marketed in North America. Given its size, it ran small wheels (around 13 to 14 inches) and small-diameter tires that are economical to replace; on such a light vehicle, winter tires would remain a key grip factor in the Quebec climate.
