Vehicle model
Saab Gamme Saab - électrique/hybride
Saab disappeared as an automaker in 2011, before the rise of mainstream electric and hybrid vehicles; no electrified Saab was therefore sold as a production model under the brand. During the company's lifetime, energy efficiency came mainly from small turbo engines, reputed to deliver torque while limiting fuel consumption, as well as from a few studies and concepts. After the bankruptcy, the assets were taken over by National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS), whose project aimed precisely at an electric car based on the 9-3, but these developments did not result in models sold under the Saab name. In practical terms, a Quebec buyer will not find a factory hybrid or electric Saab. For tire and wheel maintenance, one therefore refers to the existing combustion models (9-3, 9-5), with the common 5x110 mm bolt pattern and mandatory winter tires.

Technology
Technologies, engines and platforms
No production hybrid or electric powertrain at Saab; efficiency relied on high-torque turbocharged four-cylinder engines. The later NEVS electric project, based on the 9-3, was not marketed under the Saab brand.

Tire and wheel compatibility
