Vehicle model
Volkswagen Tiguan
The Tiguan is Volkswagen's compact SUV, launched in 2007 and one of the brand's most popular models. It sits between the smaller crossovers and the large Touareg in the lineup. Regarded as a mid-size SUV in Europe and a compact in North America, it targets families and buyers looking for versatility, interior space, and a raised driving position. The second generation (2016) adopted the MQB platform and was offered in an extended seven-seat version in certain North American markets; a third generation followed in 2023. In Quebec, the Tiguan is very common and, like any SUV, benefits greatly from quality winter tires; common wheel diameters range from roughly 17 to 19 inches depending on trim, with a 5x112 bolt pattern.

Tire and wheel compatibility
