Ferrari Testarossa
The Testarossa, launched in 1984, is one of the most emblematic supercars of the 1980s, popularized by the culture of the time (television, video games). Recognizable by its wide finned side air intakes and its very wide rear track, it marked the supercar design of its generation. A mid-rear-engine berlinetta, it offered high-level performance for its time and relative comfort for a sporting grand tourer. Produced in relatively large numbers for a Ferrari, it remains more accessible than some rare models, while benefiting from renewed collector interest. A collector's and pleasure car, it is not suited to the Quebec winter. It fits wide low-profile tires on period staggered wheels, whose original dimensions must be respected, the rear being noticeably wider than the front.

Les Ferrari modernes utilisent généralement de grandes jantes en alliage forgé, le plus souvent de 19 à 21 pouces de diamètre, avec des montages étagés (roues et pneus arrière plus larges qu'à l'avant) typiques des voitures de sport à propulsion. Les pneus sont à profil très bas et à indices de vitesse élevés, souvent dans des dimensions spécifiques au modèle. L'entraxe (bolt pattern) varie selon les modèles. Au Québec, la loi impose des pneus d'hiver homologués durant la saison froide : un second train de roues hiver, dans un diamètre parfois réduit, est fortement recommandé.
