Ferrari 125 S
The 125 S, unveiled in 1947, is the very first car to bear the Ferrari name and marks the birth of the marque in Maranello. A racing two-seater born just after the Second World War, it was designed for competition and inaugurated the in-house V12 engine tradition, which would remain a Ferrari technical signature for decades. Produced in very few units, it won several races in its first season, laying the foundations of the manufacturer's sporting reputation. A founding and highly historic piece, the 125 S today belongs to heritage and collecting rather than road use. Its interest is essentially museal and symbolic: it illustrates the origin of the Ferrari lineage. In terms of tires, it uses old fitments with small-diameter bias-ply tires, unrelated to current standards, and it does not drive in winter conditions.
